      Very elegant, nice machinery but low efficiencey

      A quality fan with a stylish look. The controls are excellent, it has a reverse flow option and its machinery is quiet as described. Be aware that the blades are very narrow and so to get a reasonable downdraft requires the fan to operate at very fast (and noisier) speeds. Perhaps because it is difficult to get wider (normal width) wooden blades that are ballanced, or because it was shaped for elegance, I cannot recommend this fan for its effectiveness, but OK it does look nice and perhaps that is more important for some. It is 65inch, but its efficiency is perhaps that of a 40 incher.
