    Not soo Golden...

    What a poor way to start. This series is geared towards young readers for a reason, that being, they are young and have not read very much so they will not be able to tell how bad of a book they just finished. Nancy Richardson could have done so much, and yet she not only fails to deliver, but may even take a few steps back. She only does an average job of establishing the main characters Anakin and Tahiri. While she does well conveying what irks and troubles the preteens this book is geared for, she fails miserably to deliver to the Star Wars fans. Luke and Tionne could not have been any more one dimensional. The same can be said of poor R2. I hope this series gets better as it goes on, but with Ikrit... I don't know.

    Golden Globe: an intro to Star Wars literature

    If you have a young Jedi in training, this is a book sure to inspire! It follows the youngest son of Han Solo and Princess Leia, Anakin Solo, as he goes to Yavin 4 to learn the ways of the force. He is nervous that he may become like his Grandfather, Darth Vader, whom he was named after. It's a great read for chapter book readers. There are no pictures except those on the cover.
