Keystroke response is subdued compared to my previous keyboard, still better than keyboards available on the latest commodity laptops. The Trackpoint may arrive sunken, though it is possible to rearrange it to standard height.

Visually, there are a couple of differences like the power LED being not so pretty, the text font. Physically, it's just very slightly different, like when I try to install it, I have to wiggle it a lot to fit the keyboard into the laptop, and I have to flex the keyboard down by pressing down in the middle so that I can screw it in, but it worked out. I was scared when other people also said it was flimsy, but it's solid after properly installing it with the screw.
