  • Chloe by Lyn Cote

Chloe, the main character, is living a charmed life but has had a controlled childhood by affluent parents. She lives in the colorful, groundbreaking 1920s. The characters in her life are well established and believable. The historic events that go on around her are authentic and well depicted. It's enjoyable to read about a friendship between people from different cultures who are aware of the roles they play in society. I recommend this book and author for others to read.
