  • One of the best writers inthe last century

Neal Stephenson's writing is continuously fascinating, a detailed world driven by fantastic plots and a fair amount of historic accuracy. I find myself actually laughing out loud while read some of the passages, which is a rare thing indeed. I cannot recommend the three books of the the Baroque Cycle (Quicksilver,The Confusion, and The System of the World) more highly.
