    Happy ever after

    Since 1977 I've liked that ship and the Lego model was no let down. It's arrival was unexpectedly quick and safe . All the pieces where there to be built and a fine sight it is. 40 years in the making and i couldn't be happier.

    Top class Star Wars model, not so good as a toy

    Judging by all the other Star Wars lego, the Tantive IV's price will skyrocket in the future, so it was partly an investment and partly the last chance to buy this model before it becomes too expensive as a toy. I bought it and built it myself, and while I don't have the imagination to play with toys anymore, I had a great time building it. Although Lego Star Wars models are not always to scale- as is very much the case here- and the detail has been poor on some (especially early) models, I was very impressed. It is very heavy, but feels quite sturdy when handled, but... It is not easily held as there are a great many pieces that are quite easy to knock off. Pros- Actually feels like it's worth the retail price. Detail. Sturdy. Cons- Very heavy to use as a toy. Hard to pick up and hold ...
