    Incorrect description of part.

    This product is described as for a 42 inch Craftsman lawn tractor. It is not. The Craftsman's part has a slot on top that fits into a metal fixture. This plug has no such slot. Because you must pay to return a product that is described incorrectly, I would stay away. I notice others commenting about a poor fit. I assume that other users are unaware of the slot that should be in the plug that gives it upper support.

    Not a perfect fit, but it works.

    It was a good price and I couldn’t find a genuine craftsman model. The fit is not exactly right and the installation was difficult, but it’s on and it works.

    Need the adjustment on manufacturing side, make the rubber or the metal hook longer

    The cover itself was perfectly fit but the hinge rubber is to short when you try to hook.it up .Both end it snap .it stretch to much to hook it up .The rubber is only 3 inches long..Need 4 inches long.
