    Great bit of history in a very colorful book

    I bought this book because I'm a fan of the Macy's Parade and a department store employee. It's a perfect coffee table book. This book brings back so many great family Holiday memories for me. The pages are full of all the great floats we see year after year flying down the streets of New York. It tells the history of the Parade and the floats and even shows how they are made. The book touches on the movie Miracle on 34th Street. I left it on the table for the Holidays near an ornament of the Uncle Sam balloon, sold exclusively at Macy's, and everybody that picked it up to take a look was equally impressed. So...I would suggest that anybody, young or old check out this book. It comes in both hard and soft cover and is well worth any price you may pay. If you get the chance to purchase one ...

    Excellent History of the Thanksgiving Day Parade

    This book is loaded with vintage black and white pictures and tons of large full-color pictures. Most of the picture can not be found doing a Google search. If you want to see some great pictures - hundreds of them - you NEED this book! And each picture has a wonderful historic description. Great coffe-table book, great gift!

    LIFE-America's Parade,Macy' Thanksgiving Day Parade

    This book summarizes the parade over its entire history. It's "must have" for any fan of the parade. Life has long had wonderful pictures and articles in its magazines. This book is no exception. I plan on giving this book to my son who now lives in the New York area.
