67mm filter fits on mine. It's a good deal and gets you out there without a lot spent.
I'm surprised at the image quality. I've not measured lines/mm or anything like that, but took test images and compared them to other glass I have. Resolution is good, contrast is good, I think you'll get a solid image if you limit the light coming into the front of the lens. Flare is off the charts, if there is a bright item in front of you, it will be reflected in the middle of the image. The filter size is 67mm, I was fortunate that another lens I own uses that size and I simply tried on the different sizes I have on hand. I've ordered a UV filter to protect the front element and a metal lens hood to see if it will reduce the stray light on the image. Using the doubler you need a lot of light, but I still get nice images. Again, you are best off if you are shooting the brightest thing ... I'm surprised at the image quality. I'm hoping I remember to update this review after I get the filter/hood, with information about how much the flare issue is reduced.
