    Appalling character assassination,misleading title.

    I was happy to've come upon this movie as an admirer of Hendrix,but unfortunately,whilst the parts are all acted very well by the cast,the writing is clunky,slow and can only best be summed up as mediocre; a great shame as one would think someone as interesting and creative as Jimi Hendrix would've inspired a much better film.Too much dwelling on business affairs in places and other too-slow scenes that just leave the viewer rather bored.The worst part of all though was the perpetuation of the lie that Hendrix was abusive to women; Kathy Etchingham herself has categorically denied this and has sued more than once concerning such claims; perhaps this is why I recall not hearing about it coming to cinemas? In any event,a disappointment,despite Andre benjamins (and the supporting cast) ...

    Ridiculous title, misleading film.

    Very well executed reproduction of the 60's, however a very appalling mistreatment of our guitar hero Jimi Hendrix who never attacked his women in any jealous rage. He never smashed Kathy Etchingham in the face with a telephone handset as seen in this movie. I'm a big fan of JIMI Hendrix, but the producers of this travesty need to recall it and re-shoot. They should tell the truth, but with this film they could be hit with a Libel lawsuit.
