    Great book for reference or beginners!

    I found the book to be great for a quick reference or those who are beginning (like myself) to collect rocks and gems! It’s pocket sized but has plenty of information along with facts and photos! Now if I can only get my hands on some authentic malachite or turquoise.

    nice informative book for kids and adolescents with Illustrated pictures

    It's a nice little pocket book but in my opinion is geared my for kids and young beginners. The pictures are illustrations, not photographs, which makes it harder to identify a specimen from looking at the pictures. This is a great book for kids that are interested in rocks, etc.
