The Fujifilm Instax Mini 7S Medium Format Instant Photo Camera produces 2-1/8 inch by 3-7/16 inch pictures. The wallet-sized photographs are printed directly from the Fuji Instax onto quality Fujifilm paper. The tangible reward of instant print photos provides a fun alternative to digital screen viewing. Within minutes, the picture that emerges from the Instax will develop. Each print includes a retro-looking white border. The Instax Mini 7S weighs 11.29 ounces. It’s compact and designed to fit comfortably in the hands of children. The specifications include dimensions of 3 inches by 5-1/4 inches by 5-3/4 inches. This item includes a wrist strap accessory to help keep it secure during handling. Adult users may enjoy this instant camera because it brings back old Polaroid photo memories. The Instax has a built-in flash to enable clear photo images in dim lighting. The flash functions automatically in low light and adjusts to other conditions. You’ll also have control of your photography with manual exposure compensation. On top of the Instax, you’ll see a dial with four different aperture settings. Use this to adjust the flash and exposure times that your Fujifilm uses for a shot. Your choices are indoor, cloudy, sunny, and very sunny. By choosing the setting that corresponds to the environment, you can improve the results dramatically.To use, lift the viewfinder to your eye, point, and shoot. The Fujinon lens captures images and translates them into high-quality images on the film. The high-performance optics in this camera have also been used for security cameras and video production equipment. The Fujinon is manufactured through a process of precision grinding and Electron Beam Coating. The optics on the Mini 7S measure 60 mm. The electronic shutter operates at 1/60th of a second. This camera includes a built-in lens cover. As an instant camera, the Mini 7S uses Fujifilm Instax Mini film for its prints. Each pack of Mini Film contains enough paper to make 10 printed images. On the back of the camera, you’ll find the loading compartment. Open the bay and line up the yellow lines with the cartridge. A protective layer covers the picture paper at this stage to prevent light exposure. Close the compartment to secure the roll. Push the picture-taking button one time after loading a fresh package. A small motor withdraws the protective paper from the cartridge. This action takes the cover through the printing device inside and prepares it to make pictures. The camera will eject the slip of paper used to load the product. During camera use, you’ll see a counter next to the compartment that indicates how many shots remain. It starts at 10 and counts down. A window on the back also lets you see that film is inside and photo-ready.Fujifilm Instant Film Paper comes complete with all accessories needed to make images. Color agents within the special paper are activated by the exposure process. This camera uses four AA batteries to operate. With the Mini 7S, you can have hours of fun making instant souvenirs at parties and on vacation.

    Great Camera

    This is a great camera for any photography lover or anyone who loves vintage film with a modern twist. Today was the first time I was able to try it out and it works perfectly and you can't tell it was refurbished. I would say this camera is a good investment.

    Cool camera but sides of the pictures come out blurry

    I bought this used, so I'm not sure if the quality of the picture is because that's how it's supposed to be, or it was damaged some way by the previous owner. The sides of all my pictures came out blurry (and I didn't shake them like a polaroid picture; you're not supposed to).

    The most fun snapshot camera I have ever owned.

    Look, they didn't make fixed-focus instant point-and-shoot cameras about features. It doesn't NEED them. This is the most fun little snapshot camera I have ever had. I have had many cameras--from my first Polaroid 600 to Brownies, Canons (Film and Digital), Minoltas, Mamiyas, and they've got their uses. However, for just capturing the moment at a party or with friends, you cannot beat the Instax Mini 7s. The film/print format is an oddball--2.5 x 3.25 or roughly credit card size. The lens is a bit wide, so get close! The viewfinder very accurately depicts composition--only slightly noticeable parallax shift. Forget about the Hello Kitty looking chassis--you can get one in black if that suits you better. Go ahead and invest in a photo album, because you will be snapping these little ...

    not something that is for every one but i am very happy with mine.

    my mother bought me this camera for a birthday gift, it was something i have been wanting for a couple of birthdays but this year we were actually able to track out down. i want this camera specifically because i love instant photography and this seemed like a good alternative to the standard and not discontinued Polaroid cameras and film. i have had a couple different Fujifilm cameras in the passed and i have been happy with them so i trusted this brand and thought it would be a better choice than the Polaroid brand clone that came out a couple years ago. so far i have used my camera in many different environments and in drastically varying light levels and it has preformed either as well as expected or better in all situations other than one that was clearly operator error. this error ...

    Fun Camera!

    Very easy to use and super cute! The pictures come out real nice too pretty clear just make sure you have the right setting on. The 1 bad thing I found with this camera is it is very hard to take a pic in frame, when looking through the eye piece it "looks" like you have everything in frame but when the actual pic pops out your missing half of what you though. Other than that I love this camera! I need some more practicing to avoid that. Another thing, buy your film on ebay! Not stupid Urban Outfitters! They rip you off! I would recommend buying this camera ;)
