An animated holiday classic takes on an interactive twist in How the Grinch Stole Christmas! for Nintendo DS. Cast in the role of the green and grumpy Grinch, players must ensure the residents of Whoville have no joy, fun, decorations, or gifts. To carry out his dastardly deed, the Grinch must carefully sneak into houses to abscond with a specific number of "large" presents in each dwelling. Timing-based mini-games are used to avoid detection from nearby Whos, and players can also hide in nooks, slide down chimneys, use elevators, and more. Three difficulty settings lead to three increasingly elaborate endings, and players can also unlock various bonus features by collecting decorations and "small" presents within each home.

Great Game for the youngsters!
This is a relatively easy game... Steal all the presents, decorations and logs for the fire in each house and get out. You have to memorize the layout of each house or you'll never find your way out so it helps your memory skills. If you run across a sleepwalking Who, you'll have a mini game appear where you have to drag the Grinch around the screen to avoid a bunch of sleepwalkers using the pen. There are not many levels so an older child or adult will finish the game fairly quickly. My 6 year old finished it in about 4 hours but goes back to play it still because it's fun and he loves the Grinch. I believe he plays it on a higher level so it's faster now. I Bought the Dr. Seuss: How The Grinch Stole Christmas (Nintendo DS) for my daughter for Christmas. This DS is very fun to play you must steal all the Christmas presents and decoration, before you can move on to the next house a harder level. The only thing I don't care for is when you get caught, you have a challenging round, but you're unable to move. So it's up to the game if you get caught during the challenge round. Other then that the game is very fun!!!I Bought the Dr. Seuss: How The Grinch Stole Christmas (Nintendo DS) for my daughter for Christmas. How the grinch stole christmas nintendo ds
I bought this game for my grandson, and he loves it. It is relatively easy to play, not as easy for a four year old as I wanted, but there is one thing about the game descriptions that I don't like, they do not say what age group the games are for, and the ratings, like E for everyone do not tell it all. I bought it because I like the grinch.
