- l***c (35)- Feedback left by buyer.More than a year agoVerified purchaseThe P401 is somewhat of a grab bag as far as ex-Soviet germanium transistors are concerned. About half of the transistors in my pack had an hFE of 15 to 30, mostly with less than 20µA of leakage. The other half ranged from 30 to 100, with leakage as low as 7µA and as high as 150µA. If you bought a pack of 16, you can probably get a couple of fuzz faces, a couple of rangemasters, and Q1 and Q2 for a Tone Bender Mk. 3/Buzzaround/Dizzy Tone out of the pack, with a few ultra low gain leftovers.
