    Not from 1998 it was from 2012 not in box and is Chinese. Had corrosion on the battery terminals so not even a good used item. If it was in a 1998 the lack of a box or Chinese could be overlooked and wasn't expecting a lot with the price but nothing from the title line except for furby was true

    The listing was to pick your Furby from the available options which included original 98 Furbys both open or new/sealed & 2012 Furbys/Furby booms. You choose a Furby boom not a 98 Furby. They speak furbish, not Chinese. The corrosion you mention was listed in the description for the Furby you chose. Nonetheless I'm sorry that you weren't happy with your purchase. Had you reached out I could have given you other options or assisted with your selection to ensure you got what you were looking for.

    It’s great. It is like having a little friend that will argue with me talk with me sing 🎶 and makes me feel not alone. All my little animals love this new addition. When it talks they all seem to stop and listen . They took their nap with Wolfe instead of me this time . We are a quarantined family now. Lol. These little things are great for this 70 year grandma staying quarantined I have my furbies and my husband has his four gremlins on his side . Suddenly it’s beginning to be a little fun around here lol Enjoy!!!!

    An Adorable Little Guy

    This is just one of those fun little things that crop up once in awhile. This particular product appears to be well made. My little Furby sits next to my computer and delights me each day. The Furby industry has had an on again-off again history spanning 20 years.

    Super cute!

    The furby buddy had some dirty residue on the mane and the kiwi furby had exploded batteries inside which covered a spring in toxins. We cleaned it all up with acetone and it works perfectly fine! The sensor and buttons work very well. The furby buddy’s voice box wasn’t working so I opened it up and changed the batteries so they both work like brand new!
