The formative album by the band Free, released in 1968 is a showcase for the band member's talents and is particularly interesting in terms of the developing style of guitarist, Paul Kossoff. Kossoff's work on The Hunter (penned by Booker T & the MG's and also covered less successfully by Led Zeppelin) is a strange mix of well-executed, but fairly standard blues licks and what was to become Kossoff's signature style. An important work from the late 60s/early 70s blues resurgance, which was driven by the Great Brits of the day.
Great British blues/rock band not there best album but well worth a listen four great musicians Paul Kossoff was a great guitarist sadly underrated and died far to young

A band of the grunge era I'd missed until recently. Love it, will definitely checking out other albums by The Screaming Trees.

Not a bad album from such a young band. This album was a stepping stone to much better work.
