Order received quickly and well protected. Product without damage or defects. Very satisfied. I highly recommend the seller! Just one observation, I am disappointed with the company's policy regarding international orders. I bought 50 items and paid 50 times the shipping costs. It could be reviewed in multiple purchases. In any case, I highly recommend the seller. Reliable and excellent communication.

Maybe the best Saturday morning cartoon ever!

This series about a clean-shaven barbarian, a sexy sorceress and a creature that is an obvious take-off on a wookie from Star Wars is set in an post-apocalyptic word of the future. The series debuted in 1981 and even set in the future, you see references to the early 1980s such as the rusted remains of original Volkswagen Beetles and pressed metal garbage cans. I had tried to get this before but got a bootleg that had been recorded from Cartoon Network. The main complaint I have of this is that it did not have the before-episode promos that had appeared when the series first ran on ABC. It is also amusing that the Ruby-Spears logo had been replaced by that of Hanna-Barbera, who did not actually make the series. I still think this could be adapted into a live-action movie if done right.

  • A cartoon that should be revisted give it a low A

Hanna-Barbera Thundar the Barbarian, cartoon is very cool for early 80's as animation for the time was starting to get in the realm of Sunbow for both GI joe, and Transformers the premise and stories are interesting as one could only imagine what earth would be like with life and Geo political struggle for dominance and power and food etc say in the year 4024 -4025. The quality is crisp and voice overs are not choppy or tongue and cheek . I give the series a 93 stories 88 and overall premise and quality a 90.

  • Childhood memories happily revisited

I was 11yrs old when Thundarr came to television & this remake of that series opened a floodgate of memories from that wondrous time in my life! (The package is kinda cheesey, but the DVD picture quality & original stories are just as I remember them in complete detail) I'd love to see some other animation from my timeline.....("Tarzan Lord of the Jungle" anyone? LOL) "For me" , this was a fun buy & I would recommend it .

  • Great 80s animated series

I was 9 years old when this came out and was quite excited to watch on Saturday morning. I was doing a search for another animated series and this one just came up. I had totally forgot till it landed in my search-box. Glad to purchase it, dvd looks good and the sound is also pretty good as well. Most of the animated shows need to be on Blu-Ray for better image quality. Regardless, this one is a winner and must have for those 80s cartoon fans.

  • Fabulous SUN SWORD!!! No need to explain.

Awesome Series!! This was a staple for us growing up, used to catch it on the USA Cartoon Express on Sundays; those were the days!! It's like Thundarr and his companions were a troop of Barbarian-esque Wizard detectives, always asking wayward Wizards questions before pummeling them into oblivion. One of my favorite cartoon series ever!! I was also a Masters of the Universe and Thundercats type of kid too, so if you liked those series and have never seen Thundarr; you owe it to yourself to check it out!!
