Grossly overstated power capability.
The listing greatly overstates their power ratings. They are capable of trickle charging batteries but not at the stated power levels. The 20w model was capable of less than 2w (0.1A) while the 30w (0.5A) model managed only about 6w. The conditions for testing were optimum, on a bright sunny day with no clouds. These have plainly been over rated by the manufacturer as the packing boxes are labeled with these exaggerated power levels. A 20w panel should be capable of about 1.5A and a 30w more like 2.5A. A little dissatisfied
Hi We bought the solar panels to put on 90 ah batteries but unfortunately weren’t suitable as they seem to not really put enough charge into batteries after even 12 to 24 hrs . We put 2x40 panels on batteries but could not get satisfactory result . So we got 40 watt panels from Jaycar and worked well . Regards Mark
