    Great light for emergencies

    This light is fantastic. When the power goes off this light can be adjusted to sit on a table top or hung from a hook. It uses 4 D batteries. It lasts a very, very long time. It has 4 settings: off, orange night light, low white light, high white light. It does not make a beam of light like a flash light. It's like a super lantern. Mine has been dropped a few times and it still shines bright. Another thing about this light is I can set it on the car battery and angle the light so I can see the engine or battery terminals in the dark, leaving my hands free to work on whatever's wrong. I have two of them one for the house and one for the car. I'd like to buy a couple more in the future. I highly recommend this light.

    Energizer Weather Ready Lantern

    Works great. 4 D cells last a very long time. Good for camping or to have around when the power goes out. It has a nice low power amber night light too. Highly recommended. I hope they keep making them.

    Energizer LED lantern made better with slight improvements.

    I've owned a couple of the earlier models for years, and with the size D copper top batteries with minimal use they last for years. I think the slight changes they made with this new model will make them a little better.
