Filmed live at Germany's gorgeous Amadus Church, a Gothic structure that is five centuries old, this live performance is a combination of theatre and classical concert. Staged in celebration of writer Goethe's 250th birthday, it sets scenes of his great masterwork, FAUST, to lush music by legendary composer Robert Schumann, which was inspired by that very work. The Klassische Philharmonie Stuttgart and the Chamber Choir Stuttgart are conducted by the renowned Frieder Bernius.
