    Usefull addition to my toolset

    Got this to help with soldering some boards and it does the job well enough. It seems reasonably well made and fine for light work. I originally thought that the base might not be heavy enough to stop the whole thing from toppling over, however this has not been the case and the unit seems stable. The only minor complaint I have is that it would have been nice if the supplied sponge filled the tray base; the one supplied only fills about a third of the base. But other than this I'm happy with my purchase.

    Pay for what you get.

    Not the most versatile or stable. Magnification is adequate. Did the job I needed it to do but showed serious shortcomings during use. Base not big enough to handle anything but the lightest of weight or pressure on the clamp arms. I will have to pay a lot now for what I need in a stand magnifier.
