    Polymer Clay How-to and Inspiration

    Ms Mika's book MIX MEDIA MOSAICS is a great book whether you are just starting to work with polymer clay or have years of experience. She begins with the must know information you need to do your very first project and then goes on to examples and projects. The projects encouraged me to explore polymer clay and not be afraid of experimenting and her directions for her projects are quite straight forward with great step-by-step illustrations that you can come back to whenever you hit a snag. I especially like the fact that Ms Mika comments and directions do not include the necessity of making a huge investment in equipment and supplies in order to get started. She does tell you about many of the bells and whistles available to create with polymer clay, but she doesnt even use a pasta ...

    The woman (author) is brilliant. For those of you who are into mixed-media, this book is total inspiration. Although out of print currently, good old Amazon came to the rescue !

    I absolutely LOVE this book. Every page is a vivid, easy to understand and follow picture of exactly how to achieve the beautiful mosaics that are shown in the book. This author really knows her stuff. Not only does she offer her personal favorites on products and tools, she displays many helpful tips throughout. If you are interested in this art, this is a perfect beginner/advanced book.

    Inspiring ideas!

    I bought this book initially for using with polymer clay, but the techniques work equally well with air-drying or normal clay. After simply flicking through the pages, I have found myself thinking of several projects that I want to start! Lovely book, full of inspiration and ideas! Lots of pictures and clear instructions. Highly recommended!
