    Overview of the Gender Brand

    The book has a quick overview of the Fender Line of guitars, minus the bass. It contains a good history of the Fender Brand and the pictures are excellent

    A History Lesson on Guitars

    I purchased the History of Fender Electric Guitars as a Christmas present for a guitar enthusiast friend of mine. We both play guitar and he's a smart guy, one of those reading type of people. I like the detail of the write ups and they are correct in saying it is the complete history. They include schematics and fully detailed write ups, drawings, and photographs. It is a great hardbound book and is ideal for coffee table discussion starters. It's also a great way to research certain instruments and their production era. My only "dislike" and it's not so much a dislike but a "would rather", is I would rather have the book be a bit larger- not so much for the print but the layout and pictures could have been more detailed and eye-catching.     I love Fender Guitars, so I thought I should know all the history on them. Also some facts on Leo Fender. The book has alot of good info on him and the guitars he build. I find it interesting. If you like Fender Guitars, you would like this book.
