What I did not pick up on was that they are screw on backs, which I have never had before, despite having pierced ears for 50 years! They need flexible, nibble fingers unlike mine. I have attempted to change the backs but have know to fit the very thick posts. In doing so I have bent one of the posts. There is nothing wrong with the earrings, but just be aware if you purchase to bear this in mind.
