The book is in amazing condition, above “acceptable” and shipped in a bubblewrap envelope. Though there are some soft color fading the top and bottom edge, it hardly seemed used and has that library book smell. Glad I took a chance because the description was general and there was no photo. Seller also didn’t provide additional description when asked. But they did promptly cancel my cancellation when asked and sent quickly. Thank you for the Tuesday surprise!

Seller listed this as hardback but sent a paperback version. I received it in a torn plastic mailer that exposed the book so I’m unsure about its initial quality vs any damage that may have occurred during delivery. I attempted contact x2 to replace it with the correct version with no reply. Waste of good money. Don’t trust this seller to ship what you actually buy or package it with care. Bait and switch.

  • Convenient, simple visual instruction.

Recently having upgraded from iPhoto to Aperture, I needed a visual step-by-step guide to get into the more detailed features of the program. Although having an iPad and downloading an eBook or PDF book would be good, I enjoy having the book to jot down notes and quickly navigate to the section I am learning. This avoids me tying-up the only iPad we have in our household when I am in Aperture mode! In addition, I like the detail and the simple explanations. Aperture has been upgraded somewhat but the book is still very useful to grasp the major features.

  • Best detailed Pro Series available

This book is not for the light hearted. It is well organized and will step the user through each phase with great detail. It will move the user into very advanced features quickly and with great examples. I highly recommend this manual for any serious user wanting to get the most out of their digital images. You will be well qualified with this application. Make sure you have plenty space on your drives as using the master copy as it will eat up some space if you have more than 10K in images in Hi Res.

  • Love this book!

Just like the Aperture 2 book by Richard Harrington, this one is written just as completely, yet easy to follow and learn. It is my 'go to' reference book since I have not taken the Aperture course. The book is extensive and covers everything that I could possibly think of and a ton more, since I am not a pro photographer. I ended up migrating all of my photos from iPhoto to Aperture 3 because of what I learned (and am still learning!). No need for iPhoto any more. This book is well worth the money and time invested. Going to sell my Aperture 2 program along with the R Harrington book (w/included cd). Upgrades are fun!
