  • Great Book for Elementary Teachers

This book is a great resource for elementary teachers. It has lots of examples and ideas for lessons that are actually doable, not just good on paper. I used this book for a methods course I was taking and am keeping it to use during my student teaching and future teaching job. It was definitely worth the money and it does not take up space. It gives books to use, ideas on how to incorporate books into history. It also is broken down into concepts for example, how to teach historical significance. It also gives practical advice like how to choose a quality book that is not a text book, and teaching ideas that have worked or not worked to teach a certain concept. Again great book that I would recommend to any elementary or early middle school teacher!
