Mike Cowan was raised in Devine, Tx. and was influenced at a very early age by music. He grew up listening to hundreds of his dad's records. Everything from Ray Price to the Beatles. He is a seasoned veteran of the Texas Honky Tonk and Dance Hall scene in South and Central Texas. His debut CD titled 'Easy Chair' was recorded and produced by Tommy Detamore at Cherry Ridge Studio in Floresville, Tx. The lineup of musicians that were brought in for this project are virtually a who's who in Texas Traditional Country Music. Mike wrote all of the songs with the exception of tracks 4,5, and 8. This is real Texas music!
