Used in my canon F1 which requires a 1.3 v battery. Used a silver oxide sr43 1.55v and this 1. Made it fit and 2. Brought the voltage down to required. Pleasure using the built in meter and the pictures were properly exposed

Expensive simple converter
It’s a simple and nice converter but, it doesn’t work for all cameras. Check for your camera before you buy. I had a problem with my Leitz Minolta CL not, being so accurate. Canon F1’s and Olympus Om-1 are all good using this method...

Essential for cameras requiring MR9, PX13 or PX625 batteries.
It does exactly what is supposed to do. It allows the use of the very common SR-43 / 386 battery in cameras that require a 1.35v mercury oxide MR9, PX13 or PX625 battery. It does this not only by adapting the shape of the battery, but also by lowering the 1.5v of the 386 to 1.35v.

Does the job well but is pricey.
Cheaper than getting someone to modify a vintage camera and makes an Olympus OM1 lighter function accurately with 1.5v battery. However, it is a little thicker than a normal battery adapter so the battery cover doesn't shut flush to the camera base. Glad I got it but expensive for so little tech. If you have decent electronics know how you could probably make one.....I understand the circuitry but my soldering is terrible :)Cheaper than getting someone to modify a vintage camera and makes an Olympus OM1 lighter function accurately with 1.5v battery.
