I have been eating In N Out's for 60+ years, having grown up in Pasadena, Calif. the home of store #5. I even tried at one time to buy stock in the company and was told that it was owned entirely by the family. I offered to get a divorce & marry one of the sons. I was turned down. For those of us who are In N Out nuts.....we just can't get enough. Every visit we have a great lunch or dinner and I ask for all the stickers and even a paper hat. A real American success story. Tragic in that the principals in the company died in an unfortunate airplane crash. The heir of In N Out Burger fortune is Lynsi Martinez Ellison who, at 28 years old, had a formidable task in front of her to take over the reins of management. Gotta love a great success story!

This was a very good book-history of the Snyder family and drive through restaurants. I used to work for the corporate office for INOB, so I had a bit of different insight-was curious who she interviewed. But she does a nice job of tying all the history together and is generally right with the personal facts (in my opinion). It was a good read for me to read about the times before I worked there and also since I left.
