    Wonderful tool, saved me $100

    So, our dryer stopped drying completely and we thought it had to be replaced. Before discarding, opened it up and found everything was working fine! Cleaned the lint from everywhere and temporarily disconnected the exhaust duct, routed it to the basement stairs, and ran a smaller load. It worked just fine. That told us there is something wrong with the duct. So we purchased this kit as well as a 12' extension since our dryer duct is long. Started with the brush, not much lint but found a blockade ~12' into the duct. Replaced brush with the included blockage removal tool and discovered it was a squirrel nest that caused all this trouble. Blew it out with this tool and leaf blower connected to the same duct with the supplied adapter. Very impressed about how this tool worked and included ...

    Almost made the grade :

    The product for the most part works as advertised. The first major issue is the need to include at least another 4ft connecting rod. The major problem is the easy with which the rods heat up while being turned by the drill. This causes the rods composition to weaken and break with ease, which is what I experienced. Even being extra careful the friction of the twisting resulted in disabling the products' intended job completion, for its only intended purpose. If the product connecting rods were made of higher grade material, metal for instance that was more tolerant to heating by friction it would be an excellent product.

    Good Kit, our dryer can breath again.

    This is a lot better then taking apart the dryer vent in our crawl space, The vacuum adapter cuff is the exact same diameter as our vent so that was useless, I just put the vac hose at the end of the vent and went through the other side with the brush and switched sides to do a through job. In addition i take the back off the dryer and use the vacuum with an air compressor all is good.

    Superb dryer vent pipe cleaning tool.

    Basement dryer with right angle on vertical pipe from basement floor to top of foundation, then right angle to outside. Brush is right size for cleaning the pipe, poles flexed easily around right angles. Also works well to clean short run of vent pipe inside the dryer. I have not tried to use this on a long run of vent pipe under the floor of a room of a house, but as long as the poles were screwed together well, I would expect it to be a great tool to get an otherwise inaccessible run of dryer pipe cleaned out. Highly recommend this.
