The refills are dried up and old. Judging by the price printed on the packages, I would estimate that these refills are 30-40 years old. This should have been noted in the description. I was very unhappy to find that they are essentially unusable. They were not worth what I paid for them. However, Kat left a nice note in the packaging thanking me for patronizing her small business, which was pleasant to receive.

I did describe them as being vintage and in unopened packages. There was no way for me to know they were dry. I hope you are happy with the solution I sent you. Again, thanks for your feedback.
