Diesen WiBbegierigen solI das vorliegende Buch ein kleiner Behelf sein fUr das wissenschaftliche Beobachten bluhender Pflanzen und eine Anregung zu weiterem Nachdenken uber die Lebensprobleme der Blute. Auch den Studierenden der Naturwissenschaften kann es als erste Einfuhrung dienen. In den letzten Jahrzehnten hat unser Wissen von der Biologie der Blute betrachtlich zugenommen. Neue Beobachtungen haben unsere Kenntnis von der Mannigfaltigkeit im Bereich der Blute auBerordentlich vermehrt. Vor alIem aber haben Versuche, seit die Methode des Experiments in der Blutenbiologie ihre Anwen- dung fand, vieles, was fruher im Leben der Bliite fraglich war, geklart, Auffassungen gesichert, aber auch neue Probleme auf- gerolIt. Pros - polite communication, low prices, generous discount offered for damaged book.
Cons - very slow communication which tends to be generic and promises much but delivers little, heavy book was sent in a jiffy bag and arrived damaged, had to get Ebay involved to action the promised partial refund.
Summary - 'pile it high and sell it cheap' organisation which is unable to provide efficient customer service and makes the mistake of not packaging books correctly. Will not buy from them again.
