Synopsis
An unparalleled look inside the brilliant mind of one of America's most revered rock legends, Cobain Unseen collects previously unseen artifacts and photographs from the estate's archives to form a fascinating portrait of the creativity, madness, and genius of Kurt Cobain. Personal items and photographs take readers deeper inside Cobain's life than they've ever been before, and interactive features, such as Kurt's handwritten sticker-sheet of Nirvana name tags, facsimiles of unseen journal pages, and gatefolds of his graffiti-embellished guitars make this an essential keepsake. An audio CD showcasing spoken-word material by Cobain, some of it never before released, will be included. Accompanying the previously unpublished images and memorabilia is a compelling biographical narrative by New York Times -bestselling author Charles R. Cross.

    Amazing!

I purchased this book for $8, thinking it was a paperback. I knew it was written by the same author as Heavier Than Heaven and regardless of what side you stand on his death theory, there is great content! What I got was this giant, hard back book that looked AMAZING! The condition was listed at GOOD. Good? This Thing is mint. It has pull outs, fold outs and even has a CD in it. It was still sealed. I was shocked by all the extras in this book. A book I thought would just be another paperback in my collection. If you don't have this book, you have to get it!

  • Gifted Leader

Wow. after being a major fan of Kurt Cobain for many many years I Definately became interested in Kurt Cobain the person like many other people did, more so after his passing. This book is one of the finest examples and probably the closest glimpse into the mind of Kurt Cobain the artist. its amazing to see how he like many great artist over the years, was bassically in a world of his own. Surely a leader not a follower. people like Kurt Cobain make you choose in life even though it may not be popular at the time.He was a great voice for his people.

  • Unbelievable excellence

I could believe my eyes when I actually got this great book. Perfect condition, all accessories are here, even the cd and the little mask. The book is almost brand new! And the price is about 10% of the new one(all sold out long ago) Thank you!!!

  • Excellent companion to Montage of Heck and Heavier Than Heaven

This coffee-table book is interesting in general for those who want to know more about Cobain, but is especially good for the super fan, as it contains not just writing and photography, but reproductions of things like show flyers and other ephemera. It makes a good companion to Cross' other Cobain book Heavier Than Heaven and the film Montage of Heck. Special attention is given to Cobain's art, guitars, collectibles, and so on. The writing and photography are both well-done.

  • Cobain Unseen

I love this book - I have been collecting Kurt Cobain stuff for over 6 years and this is definetly the best book I owe. There are pictures that I have never seen before and the inserts are really cool. Totally love this book - it is my prize collectable. Thanks to Charles C. Cross for making this wonderful tribute to Kurt.
