    First two gears don't work

    The first two gears do not work at all when the beaters are attached. Only the third gear works which is too high of a speed for mixing most items. I had purchased this motor to replace the one I already have which has the same issue. Waste of money for sure.

    Love this mixer!

    This is my third Braun hand mixer of this model! I have loved this mixer ever since I purchased the first one many (over 25) years ago! The first two became victims of my kitchen clumsiness, I dropped them! Twice! When the first one broke, I found the second at a retailer and easily replaced it. It is my most usable kitchen tool and I can't cook without it! When I dropped the second one I was devistated! It would still run, but made some noise, so I started searching for another. The one on Amazon was out of stock. I kept searching. I had two sets of the accessories, so I really only needed the motor part. Finally I found this one on eBay! It runs so smoothly and is in perfect condition. Once again, I am a happy cook! This mixer does the job, is light weight and easy to use ...

    A good deal!

    I dropped my last mixer on the floor by accident and was thrilled to find a complete set for sale, so now I have 2 sets of attachments LOL. Seriously, it does a great job especially the chopper attachment which is easy to use and what I use the most. It's certainly vintage as I bought my last mixer new in 1999 and Braun, which is owned by Procter and Gamble, cannot assist if you have damage or need replacement items, so why Ebay is indeed your salvation. Keep watching as it took me about a month here just to find the speed of mixer that I had and wanted to replace and I'm so glad that the wait was worth it!.

    about as good as the one I had before

    I had one of these before but it wore out. So far this new one is working as well as the one I had before. It makes a slightly different noise, but so far so good. So far no complaints.
