Our van is 1750kg and this product moves the van easily on the flat. We have a 8 degree incline on the drive and although slow and a little bit of wheel spin it does push up the driveway. Had to put some weight on the front of the van to stop wheel spin. Only had one try though but think it will be fine with a bit of trial and error. It's pretty well made and happy with the product $300 compared to over a thousand to two thousand is a no brainer.

The only reason for not giving this product full credit is that clamps to us provided for the jockey wheel do not match those shown in the advertising pictures. The clasps provided ended up being identified as much less strength than required and could be dangerous when those crumpled or distorted under weight, particularly where the professed capacity is up to 2700kg. It is considered the manufacturer should have or would have known this and should have supplied the correct stronger clamp as displayed in the advertising pictures. Otherwise the device is quite good and fairly soundly made. On identifying the problem and experiencing some damage we replaced the clamp with a proper clamp which was inexpensive and totally adequate for the job.

I have had mine for about two and a half years. And use it regularly I have had a couple of problems at the beginning one like someone else wrote the receiving tube that takes the handle broke when trying to turn left or right luckily there is enough tube left to still put some of the handle in I cut my handle down so only have a strait piece coming out about 350mm long and steer it with my foot and have taken the cable out of the remaining handle up to the forward reverse buttons much better. Secondly the clamp is more than useless far to weak I replaced it with a double length clamp now the jockey wheel does not move at all as before it was pivoting backwards and forwards when it was moving. Apart from that it is very good my van is 2 ton

This awesome device allows me to move my boat and trailer, when off the tow vehicle, meaning that I no longer need to back down my narrow driveway. I use an emergency cranking battery to drive it. It's easy to operate even on loose stones, as I just place strips of plywood down,so that the wheel dosnt sink.

Fair price and works ok but no good on damp or wet soft ground which is explained in advertisement .so value for money ok !! ,mounting clamp could be stronger .

Very disappointed with the performance. Trying to move a 1.3T Jayco Hawk on a concrete driveway with a slight fall. The specs say it is capable of 2.8T on a 7 degree slope, but I can tell you it is pitiful in dealing with any sort of uphill movement even on a sealed surface. It seems to me it's only useful on flat level sealed ground where you won't need it anyway, so save your $300 for a few cartons of beer and get the mates around to help you spot it in with the Ute.

The good - It certainly has more power than the 350W Model ....... BUT it still hasn't got the capacity claimed. I have to push my 2400kg Van up a 7º slope at an angle to lessen the incline; it won't push it up directly. Also the alloy casting that receives the handle is weakly designed, and shattered on the third use, so be very gentle with it when steering, even on flat concrete surfaces. Maybe I just got a faulty one, because I never had any such trouble with the 350W Model which I used for several years, but it still looks badly designed where it broke. UPDATE 18/01/2019 - I have bought another of these Movers from a different Supplier, and now find that the alloy casting which shattered on the one bought last year has since been re-designed and strengthened. Only proviso is, when changing steering direction, keep the vehicle moving and lean the handle off the vertical position to get sideways leverage for steering.Read full review

Very handy for manoeuvring caravan into a tight spot to park. Just need to be careful with the slope that you expect it to work on - they say maximum of 7%, which isn't overly steep.

This product will safely maneuver my caravan about. I have seen many failed attempts to back large vans by inexperienced older men who have had NO training and are suffering from poor mobility, hopefully this product will save us all.
