I am so pleased with this transaction. I have not yet received my order but it is on the way. We had a little bump in the road due to no one but the post office. The help I received from the seller was just wonderful. To be honest I was lost and the seller knew exactly what to do. Such a help to me. Even paying the postage for me Thank you

  • Wins the "disposable" flash award in my opinion.

There are several flashes out there that look almost identical to the Xit, however there are some subtle differences and the Xit seems to be the most dependable. Initially bought a couple of the Vivitar 3000's but they did not last. Two of the 4 "died' within a few weeks! Also, there are only two switches on the Vivitar as they incorporated the slave/normal settings into the same slider switch as the power. The Xit has separate switches for slave/normal and for the power. Makes a lot more sense to me! Also, the Xit has a guide number chart on the back for determining f:stop and distance. According to the chart the GN for the Xit at ISO 100 is 48. The Vivitar GN is a mystery as there is nothing in their literature and even the folks at B & H don't know. Obviously the Xit is a cheap little ...

  • Not adjustable, but Great cheap Slave flash!

Only thing not so great. Recycles much slower than the other one of these I have... when the batteries are more that half spent. I imagine it works fine with newer batteries. (other one cycles fast with bad batts) If you wait for the red light to get bright, it is consistent. -works for my landscape pics. And, did I say, "Slave flash, Cheap!" ...? So, five stars.
