    i loved misty,mistys twilight and stormy mistys foal.I read the books over and over i loved the books they are all so thrilling and happy sea star was the best book(well next to misty)in the seirers. I cried when misty was taken away but sea star is all about movie men coming to chincoteague to film the annual pony penning,paul and maureen are thrilled untill they learn that they want to buy misty.Reluctanly the agree to sell misty for 250$ to send their uncle clarence lee to collge.but they cant seem to find somthing to fill the lonly place that misty leves behind.When paul and maureen find an orphaned colt helps them deal with losing misty and soon they discover that little sea star need them as much as they need him. but sea star belongs to the fire department so grampa beebe asks ...

    reliving the dream of ponies, sand, life lessons, and the touch of souls

    I am going to give this to my granddaughter who has the love and horsebug like her gramie. I remember at her age i scanned the shelves weekly at the public library for any book about horses then i came upon the collection of this library set. I cannot wait for my granddaughter to flip through the pages and jump onto the sand and become one with the ponies. So very glad to find this collection and when it arrived it is pristine. Thank you for knowing you had a treasure in your mist and decided to pass it along. It will be cherished again. Tina from Alaska

    THE SET APPEARS TO BE NEW; DOES NOT LOOK LIKE IT HAS EVER BEEN USED. PERFECT GIFT TO READ CHAPTERS TO MY GRANDDAUGHTER EACH NIGHT FROM. THESE BOOKS HAVE BEEN AROUND SINCE I WAS A CHILD THEY ARE TIMELESS AND CLASSICS FOR CHILDREN. EVERY CHILD SHOULD HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO HEAR/READ THESE STORIES. WE RAISE HORSES SO ITS A GREAT WAY TO INTRODUCE A CHILD TO THE LOVE OF HORSES IN MY OPINION.
