This is a fantastic printer, as long as it is used on a daily basis, and kept powered on. If powered off, the printer goes into a cleaning cycle with every power on. It will use a great deal of ink, especially if set for "Best Photo" quality. One way around this is to install a C.I.S.S. This is my third RX-595 since 2007. I'll continue to buy them as long as I can.

I have use this printer for about 3 weeks. The primary feature we purchased it for was the CD/DVD printing, which works great. It is fast and easy. Although compared to the Epson Photo Stylus R220 & R340 the print isn’t as “clean.” The edges of the words are a little blurred, maybe it is a lower resolution. The wireless set up gave me a little humbug but eventually worked. I haven’t been able to print a photo via wireless printing. The printer seems to have a difficult time receiving the information to print, it is always buffering. Took more than an hour and then only printed a 1/4 of the picture and the resolution was low. I will try again with a direct hook up.

Epson Stylus Photo RX595 AIO IJ Printer, is as EASY to use as turning on any light fixture. Just find the right button or switch and push or flick it. As for the RX595, after reading the Manuel, it is all menu oriented. If you can't find what you need on the menu's just search for it, in the Help files, in the Software Program. The Photo printing is wonderful, it prints fast and beautifully. The pictures turn out Better than any you could get at any Photo Development store plus you did it yourself. This Printer is ALL AROUND just GREAT, I have just one complaint. It needs to have Wireless Networking capabilities. You can connect it to your Network with a Print Server, as I have, but that is such a pain and causes to many problems with all the other computers, on your Network, plus it is time consuming trying to get it setup in the first place. It took me three (3) tries to get it right. So my suggestion, to Epson, would be to make it Wireless to begin with. Other than that this Printer is worth the price.Read full review
I love this printer! I have have HP printers in the past and this printer has beat HP by a mile. Its very quietand doesn't shake my whole desk while printing like the HP's i've had do, it can print actual (not lightscribe) pictures on printable CD's, can print directly off a memory card, has a scanner, and has a top paper loader. The only thing I would say negative about this printer is the size, but with all the pro's that is one con im willing to deal with! I would personally give it a 9 out of 10 rating.
We bought 2 of these printers a couple years ago, we live at two places during the year. We have been quite please with the quality all around. Great prints, amazing!! My wife make a lot of Halmark cards and really like the quality. We bought a newer Epson printer but it did not work as well as this one. We gave the two printers to our daughter before we bought the new one, that was a mistake. I then bought another new 595 from Ebay and we are all happy again.
love this printer already own one would buy again bought a brand new when they first came out I think right around 2004

I have seen this product while visiting to a friends house. I decided to buy it and got it on ebay auction. I won the auction and it is fantastic product. Basically it is printer and beyond that it lets me print the back of my CD/DVDs with any picture I want with a software that comes with it. Its inks have very greatl quality of printing. In general its price is greatly discount.
Was not even functional. Will not print at all. Just gives error message. Unable to troubleshoot.

Great printer. Bought this to replace the same printer model that my wife has worn out. Makes great professional prints - no complaints at all. Would recommend to everyone that wants quality. Great job Epson.
I had a rx 680 for about 6 t0 8 years.. and when it broke down I tries to find another. They had great pictures. The 595 was close, and worked ok, but just wasn't a 680. I did find a 680 on ebay and have my old friend back., old but works great.
