    Excellent lens, Pentax signature IQ

    This is an excellent with great IQ. The pictures have the typical Pentax look with great sharpness and colors. The build quality is extremely good.

    It is best Pentax wide angle lens for crop 1.5 DSLR

    12-18mm are exelent. 18mm is distorsion free! 12-14 is wery good just at open f4 20-24mm are softer at f4, but f6.7 made good sharpness I think, that zoom 12-24 is has better optical quality than 14mm 2.8 or 15mm Limited.

    Great Lens wrt Image Quality

    This is a very well built lens, even through it is not a * lens. Typical excellent pentax rendition and contrast. Only wish it had more wide range (ie down to 10mm). The Sigma 10-20 is the other quality alternative for a ultra wide angle.
