    This item really ups the cool factor to my jeep. If you don't take off your doors very often, it may be difficult to remove the existing bolts that are in the door. I had to get a T50 star bit to fit the bolts on my jeep. Used a pipe over the ratchet to loosen the bolts. After that, all was easy. Also, so your doors don't shift when removing the bolts, be sure to use duct tape around the door frame to keep in place. Keep in mind the door hinge pedal has a max weight of 200 lbs.

    This item really ups the cool factor to my jeep. If you don't take off your doors very often, it may be difficult to remove the existing bolts that are in the door.     I repainted it so it would look better. ...

    I repainted it so it would look better. When I installed it the paint chipped around on the Jeep because it’s not a great fit. The holes are tapered. That should be addressed
