    Fine for older Laptop Win7

    These are great for DJ/Karaoke laptops. Why use an external drive? There is a catch though, with a simple work around. The original Windows install (or maybe the BIOS)will not recognize the drive at start, too big. Solution: partition the drive for the smallest system drive (30 GB) can do this VIA usb 2.0 using windows computer manager. leave the rest unallocated. After win7 installs, then do create the "simple volume". That way your library is safe if you need to wash your windows. 5400 rpm is slower than 7400, but still way faster than using an external.

    Got if for the PS4

    Works like a charm. If you have a lot of data on the PS4 make sure you back up your data onto a external hard drive first. Other than that just follow the steps on the PlayStation support web site. When downloading the update software make sure you are downloading the fresh install of the full system version, around 800 mb. Follow the steps on the web site and your good to go. Its a lot faster than before and a little louder when in rest mode than before but overall you get more space around 1.77 tb.
