    I've used the Gurian crowning file for 4...

    I've used the Gurian crowning file for 40+ years. Never thought about trying another type. The inserts for it had become worn. My search for replacements led me to this Music Nomad version. I liked the design so I bought it. This week I had a reissue Telecaster come in for a plane and crown. It had been played hard and had lots of deep flat spots and grooves. Had to remove about 30% of material to get things flat again. Once leveled, this tool finished them out quickly and easily. I'm sold
