ReviewsPraise for Henning Mankell "An arresting writer . . . [Mankell] understands and probes the underside of everyday living in an elegant and artful way. . . . The result is writing that walks a line between ephemeral and everlasting."      -- The Washington Post   "[Mankell's] Swedish detective, Inspector Kurt Wallander, is one of the most impressive creations in crime fiction today. . . . An old-fashioned moral force and sense of disquiet of the sort rarely found in contemporary crime fiction."      -- The Guardian, Praise for Henning Mankell "An arresting writer . . . SynopsisThe eleventh riveting installment in the mystery thriller series that inspired the Netflix crime drama Young Wallander - Wallander is "one of the most impressive creations in crime fiction today.... An old-fashioned moral force and sense of disquiet of the sort rarely found in contemporary crime fiction." -- The Guardian After nearly thirty years in the same job, Inspector Kurt Wallander is tired, restless, and itching to make a change. He is taken with a certain old farmhouse, perfectly situated in a quiet countryside with a charming, overgrown garden. There he finds the skeletal hand of a corpse in a shallow grave. • Superb Author Interest Plot

Henkel Manning is the best European writer of detective 🕵️‍♀️ stories. The novel was original published as The Grave in Swedish and was a gift for his loyal readers to download. None of the original download sites are still functioning so you will have to buy the book. It’s worth it!

  • Henning Market lot

Lot of Kurt Wallender books plus one without Kurt. Books in excellent condition. Hard to find these books down here in Virginia. Can buy new but rare used. Very pleased with purchase and am enjoying reading them.
