While it had a stronger wireless signal the throughput was not consistent. Condition was pretty good I am wondering if this was/is a detective unit returned and not repaired.     Easy setup. Works better than I expected

    I was having trouble with my wifi signal reaching my upstairs bedroom. The main router is located in the Family Room on the 1st floor at the opposite end of the house, approximately 60 ft away. I tried range extenders, but they did not perform very well. Not only that, my network speed decreased from about 60 MHz to around 1.5 MHz. Not Good! I ordered these powerline extenders and once they arrived installation was simple. You can set them up to "clone" the settings of your existing router, so there are no annoying "*.ext" networks to put up with (or to switch to when moving around the house). Since the network is now basically a wired one with wireless from the location of the plug in extender, signal is full strength virtually anywhere within range of the extender or the router. My ...

    Great product with easy set up.

    This worked great for me. Easy to set up and coverage is great. I was concerned because directions say that base and transponder have to be plugged in to outlets that are on the same circuit. But I tried plugging them into outlets on different circuits and it worked great. My house was built in 2002, but an older home may have have different results.

    Good value and coverage.

    Easy setup. Good range. Covers around 1000 sq ft n my house. Don’t expect advertised data rate claims. It depends on your electrical system. The multi-input multi-output is faster than single input/output. I get powerline connection even to my outbuildings, 25 yards away.
