About this product

Product Information

The Blackstone's Guide Series delivers concise and accessible books covering the latest legislative changes and amendments. Published soon after enactment, they offer expert commentary by leading names on the scope, extent and effects of the legislation, plus a full copy of the Act itself. They offer a cost-effective solution to key information needs and are the perfect companion for any practitioner needing to get up to speed with the latest changes. The Bribery Act 2010 reforms the law of corruption, modernizing the existing law and creating new offences targeted at both individuals and businesses. It enables increased prosecution of businesses operating overseas, whether through subsidiaries, joint ventures, or direct market access, and simplifies and clarifies existing laws, making UK law compliant with international instruments. The Act introduces a controversial new corporate offence, enabling prosecution of companies associated with the individual or business accused of corruption. It also introduces the defence of adequate provisions for companies accused of the corporate offence. This new Blackstone's Guide combines the full text of the Act and extracts of related relevant legislation with an expert narrative. It brings practitioners up-to-date with this long-awaited piece of legislation.

An excellent eBay seller. Great communication. They worked with me to ensure a great experience. The book I bought was all better than described, packed very well and securely, and shipped fast. The asked amount was a very fair market value. I would highly recomment this seller, and would not hesitate to order from them again. Thank you!

It was ordered 19th May and item stated it would take a few days but arrived 30th May with 48 hr Royal Mail tracking??? The postage location was in UK but came from the USA luckily it arrived in time as a present so just be mindful if need it quickly. Otherwise item as described and good price would recommend and purchase from again.

I am not happy with the service. I placed the order on 28th May and then received notification that the item would not be dispatched until July, so I immediately cancelled the order. The seller responded to say they had no record of the order. I assumed that the cancellation request has been actioned. I have now received an email from eBay saying that the seller refuses to cancel as it is too late. How can immediate cancellation be too late. Very poor service.
