    Smart looking Great features

    Brilliant piece of kit Loads of storage Great for editing Videos as well as recording. The downside is the Free Sat, my purchase is going out of production. If the Freeview version has the same specification as the Free Sat it would be a great buy. But not for me as I live in a poor reception area for Freeview.

    Very flexible recorder with SCART input / output, which latest Panasonic model doesn't have, as well as HDMI. Pity it doesn't have a larger HDD.

    Surprisingly Capable Machine.

    An excellent product which gives great tv reception and also enables copying of programmes to either blu-ray or dvd, the better quality copy being obtained by using blu-ray. It has 2 built in tuners which is good for simultaneous recording and it has Freeview + which means it will receive all the latest Freeview channels. A downside is that it is not fitted with Bluetooth, so access to the internet can only be gained by use of a physical cable to your router.
