    Great hose reels

    I have three of these. The quality of each is fantastic but there are some small issues with each of them. The small ring that you use to pull up on to release the guide bar from rolling up the hose nicely rusts after a few months but isn’t a real issue since you pay extra to have it track so why would you want to disengage it? Also the reel probably should have a ratchet type device so when your unrolling it from the wheel it doesn’t keep unwinding when you stop pulling. It’s not a real big problem. The process of winding the hose up is great! The company should provide some TAPCON screws so you can mount it. You have to go buy your own. Overall these hose wheels are fantastic and well built. I have had plastic ones and after about 5 years they fall apart.

    Hose reel

    The only reason I give 4 of 5 stars is that it is all metal but has a soft rubber handle on the crank. That will be the first part to fail I believe.Otherwise, a great hose reel. You have to be careful not to run into the greased bar in the front. I hope this one lasts.

    Nice.. but,

    Seems very well built. Needs "backlash" prevention feature though, as it keeps spinning after you pull hose out... not a big deal. Also, the hose fitting on mine had to be "cleaned up" before hose would screw on! It had slightly damaged threads. I'm a mechanic, so no biggie, but I can see this being a problem for others.. (CHECK THE FITTING GUYS!!) product control!! Anyway, works like it should and does a good job. Only time will tell on the internal gearing assembly and hose reel guid shaft longevity. Overall..... pricy but well built.

    You get what you pay for!

    This hose reel is very well built and looks great. A bit pricey but well worth it. The plastic model that I had initially, began to fall apart within a few years and needed to be repaired or patched up several times. We look forward to many years of good service from this all metal unit.

    Very nice, well-made hose reel. Pricey , but worth it.

    Hose guide mechanically tracks right then left while winding hose up to make hose wind up very neatly without having to touch the muddy , wet hose at all. Well made and solid feeling, yet light and easy to install.
