The electronically controlled, programmed auto exposure mode in the Canon A-1 automatically sets the exposure level based up on the light meter input. With bulb and flash synchronization speeds of 1/60 seconds, this 35 mm camera allows the flash to fire at the precise moment. The Canon motor drive MA in this Canon camera allows for automatic film advance up to 5 frames per second.
