It was packaged with brown paper and a very small amount of foam only on the corners of the receiver. I was worried about this and was disappointed to find that the corner with the power button and speaker buttons had been damaged with issues not as described in the listing. The speaker buttons now get stuck and the paneling is not flush in the front.
