Constant, explosive fun that is fast paced and simple to get into.
This was the first game that I ever played. On the PlayStation 2. I have managed to keep my original PS2 working for the past 16 ish or more years and have had my original copy of Burnout 3 for about as long as I could remember. So, when my original copy just became too damaged to play anymore I was pretty bummed. Not destroyed, because it's just a game and I knew I could always buy another copy, and that is exactly what I did. I came to Ebay in search of what is, arguably, my personal favorite game of all time, so I came searching for a good deal and that is exactly what I found. As far as the game itself, it is just as fun as I remember, and thankfully I now no longer have to deal with graphical glitches that occurred because the disk was scratched and made gameplay near impossible. It runs very smoothly now and I personally feel, looked very good for a PS2 game. For 2004 this game was the sh*t in realistic graphics and I say that it still looks pretty damn good. The gameplay can at times feel repetitive mainly due to the reuse and restructuring of the same tracks, but, the game still has a decent number of tracks and it is a racing game after all so some things might feel a little bit of the same. But it keeps your interest because it has many diverse game modes and some that criss cross into each other for explosive fun. My favorite of these is Road Rage in which the only goal is to destroy your opponents with your vehicle as many times as possible before time expires or before you become too destroyed yourself. It is a great destresser especially after sitting in heavy traffic it lets you release al those thoughts and actions that you wished you could do with you 1999 Honda Civic. To keep from continuing to ramble. This game is fun as hell. Buy it. Play it. Love it. You can make cars go boom, a lot. There is a lot of f***in boom in this game. So. Much. Boom.

So disappointed
This product was purchased used. The game itself in content is good, my family has played it before , but this copy purchased used, does nit work properly. It will only play the first race. The rest are glitchy and will not play. Very disappointed because there is no return on this game.

My favorite racing game
In the world of video game racing there are 2 types of game: realistic physics and non-realistic. This is quite possibly the best example of non-realistic racing, which is why it is epically fun. Making your opponents crash in fantastic ways. Causing multi-million dollar pile ups on the interstate. And easily one of the best soundtracks of any genre. The key to this game really is turning the sound effects all the way down and the music all the way up (from the in game sound menu) and rocking out while flying around the tracks. The graphics are beautiful for ps2. The single player campaign is easy at first, but at the end you will need ultimate precession and just a touch of luck. Great arcade racing game.
Great arcade racing game with an emphasis on smashing into the other players. Very fun to play and the best title in the series in my opinion. There is even a mode where you just create a giant wreck and try to rack up the highest value in damage.
